Free app of the day

Easy Calendar

Experience the ease of use of a week calendar that is designed around frequent tasks instead of options you only need occasionally. To create a new event: tap on a day, enter time, description … done!

In other calendar apps you have to navigate through multiple screens to create any event. For a typical appointment (with friends, a doctor visit, car maintenance, etc.) you should not be bothered with all the options they present you.

We designed Easy Calendar on that basis. With a focus on simplicity and usability, we regarded anything beyond time and description as optional, but still available if you need it.

The numbers speak for themselves:
• Create an event in Easy Calendar: 3 taps
• In all other top-five calendar apps: 6 taps
• Edit an event in Easy Calendar: 2 taps
• In all other top-five calendar apps: 5, 6, or even 7 taps

So, no more struggling when you make an appointment with somebody on the phone or face-to-face. Save time – keep it simple!

How Easy Calendar works:
• Swipe left or right through the week pages or use the navigation buttons at the top of the screen.
• To create an event, tap on the day header or empty space.
• To edit or delete an event, tap on the event.
• To quickly move an event, press and hold your finger for one second on the event text.

Features:
• 100% integration with native iPhone calendar events.
• Highly responsive week ‘swipe’.
• Direct link to the native iPhone calendar to access optional event properties.
• Synchronization with other calendar applications like Outlook and Google Calendar using iTunes or MobileMe.
• Innovative move function that uses the week view itself to select a new date.

Notes:
• Easy Calendar is a week-view-only design (on purpose). However, because it shares data with the native iPhone calendar, you still have access to other views if you need them.
• If you have multiple calendars configured, Easy Calendar will show all concerning events. New events will be assigned to your iPhone’s default calendar. Change the default calendar in: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Default Calendar.

Requirements: Easy Calendar runs on any device with iOS 4.0 or higher.

We are always interested to hear from you. Feel free to leave a testimonial to let other users, and us, know why you chose Easy Calendar as your default calendar. If you have any issue, you can contact us on support@easy-calendar.com.
